For those that missed my session at the Win Win Women International Women's Day Summit, I am sharing it directly with you here. I packed what I could in 15 minutes but there is so much more I wanted to say!
It’s about the importance of crafting meaningful retreat experiences that enhance client relationships, alongside key approaches to make it stand out in a crowded market.
A Few Points Discussed:
Time Management: Allocate more than three to four months for planning and marketing retreats to ensure thorough preparation.
Thematic Naming: Focus on naming retreats based on the transformation attendees will experience instead of generic terms.
Creative Marketing: Explore partnerships and innovative marketing strategies beyond personal networks and social media.
Cost Management: Anticipate costs accurately and seek creative solutions, such as local government support for venues.
Building Trust: Share personal stories and deep content to forge a connection with potential attendees.
Reflection to Leave You With:
The first order of business when planning your retreat is to deeply understand your WHY—beyond the excitement of hosting an event in a beautiful location or simply delivering content that aligns with your brand. Your retreat must be rooted in your unique essence—the transformational experience only you can facilitate.
Think about:
The unique methodology you’ve developed
The storytelling and lived experiences that shape your approach
The practices, exercises, and rituals you integrate
The way you create safety and depth in your space
By focusing on what only you can offer, you ensure that your retreat is magnetic to the right attendees—those who are not just interested in the topic but who are deeply aligned with your philosophy and energy.
Strategy call:
I still have 1-2 spots left for a free strategy call to those that attended the summit or are in my community. Feel free to use the QR code towards the end of my presentation to set a time on my calendar or reply to this email. Id love to learn more about your retreat goals and introduce myself further if we haven’t met yet!
